Quite a slow week last week, seems to be mainly due to the low volumes around the Easter weekend holidays. Lucklily I'm still in sim - my friend made some steady profits taking calls from the TI room.
Am noticing that the late nights/early mornings are pretty hard on the old body! Although daylight saving ending means that the S&P 500 cash market now opens at 11.30pm AEST. I just trade for a couple of hours, so I have the energy to get up for work the next day. LOVE Fridays because I can trade as long as I want (sleep in Saturday!).
Anyway, I will keep you posted this coming week with some ACTUAL $$$ results from my sim trading, as that's the proof! I start live trading in less than a month.

Currently I'm reading Trading In The Zone by Mark Douglas ... all about the psychology of trading. It's a highly recommended read before you commence trading with real money. I'll post a review when I'm finished reading it....!Wednesday, April 1, 2009
Welcome to My Blog!
If you have heard about E-Minis and are new to or considering trading them, then you've come to the right place for some inspiration! I'm at the very beginning of the "e-minis journey", and have decided to use this blog as a record of my progress and a shining beacon to others that this project has been profitable and rewarding for me.
Currently I'm at the start of my simulated trading, and within the next 2 months will commence trading with real money. At this moment I am 100% committed and focussed on my e-mini's project, and motivated by all the wonderful potential experiences and rewards this will bring to myself and others. I'll talk some more later about my own personal reasons for doing this and how it all came about, but for now - welcome - and I hope that you enjoy taking this journey if you decide to.
